Pursuing my curiosity from a chance occurrence led me down a path to open my own ceramic studio practice in 2009, and I feel very thankful that I am able to pursue this art form today.
I love working with the life in clay and bringing it into this world. Clay teaches me many things, like how to slow down, and remember limitations, and that good things come to those who wait and persevere. My work is often a study of multiple repetitions of form and surface design. And slowly through this production, my work changes and grows, with intention and consideration.
I love to make work that is part of a joyful home, that exists in the moments that people look forward to everyday. Eating, drinking, cooking and relaxing in the peace and comfort of one's home. I make work considering what brings about joyful moments.
I happily accept custom orders, lots of times for weddings with custom inscriptions, and also if you have a specific idea of something that you don't see published, feel free to ask me.
